I recently had my freephoneline number changed including the area code. When i try to make calls i get a message saying "the password is invalid". I purchased the SIP configuration file back in 2010 and i have no idea what my SIP password is. Is it possible to have my password reset or is there a better solution?
Thank you.

Re: Invalid Password
Your password would not have changed, but the username would have. I assume you are using the PAP2T so just update the username with the phone number you got (including the initial 1) in the ATA and it should be OK.
You can also check online https://www.freephoneline.ca/showSipSettings which should have all your details.
Failing that, you will have to send in a support ticket https://support.fongo.com/anonymous_requests/new

Re: Invalid Password
I've updated my new phone number in the Linksys PAPS Configuration settings but I'm still getting the "invalid password" message. Also, when I try to call my home number from my cell i get a recording saying "that number is not set up". Any other advice? Fongo won't support my request for assistance ticket.

Re: Invalid Password
if you got a ticket number, PM it to Fongo Support http://forum.fongo.com/ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&u=7852
It sounds like something did not go through properly their end. Send a pm to support even if you didn't get a ticket number, but it will be a lot better if you had one even if it said it was closed.
