Calling my number goes to voicemail

Post by recognizer »

Right now it's only a minor annoyance, but perhaps someone knows of a solution.

I have follow me settings to simultaneously call my cell phone. I can call my cell phone no problem, but if I call my FPL number with my cell phone, it goes to my cellphone's voicemail.

Is there a way to ignore the simultaneous setting if the number calling is one the follow me numbers?

What would be awesome would be to have two numbers on there and if cell 1 calls, it rings the FPL number and cell 2, but ignores cell 1 because that's the number calling.

I have a OBi202 if it matters.

Well, yeah. You're essentially calling your cell phone with your cell phone.

If you're using Follow Me, no.

If you want to use FPL's Follow Me, your only option would be use sequential call forwarding and place your cell phone number last in the ring list.

I have a OBi202 if it matters.
If you want to use your ATA to forward calls, you will need to disable FPL's Follow Me.

I would ask over here: https://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=425.0

If there's a way to do it (and I'm not sure that there is), it would involve using X_InboundCallRoute.
I have an idea that might work, but I'm not positive that it will work. And I'm too lazy to test. So, if I were you, I'd ask here: https://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=425.0

If you plan on using Call Forward Unconditional or the other Call Forwarding functions in the ATA
navigate to Service Providers-->ITSP Profile (FPL)-->SIP
a) Uncheck X_Use302ToCallForward

With X_Use302ToCallForward enabled, you will get everything going straight to FPL's voicemail.
