Hi I am a SIP user, My freephone line phone does not work since last week. (I just can spare some time to check today)
I checked the status in the ATA, it show "Registration State: Failed"
Then I test it with the freephone line app on the desktop, connect OK, dial out OK, but cannot receive call.
I have not touch any setting for months.
Please Help.
All of a sudden ATA failed to register with freephone line

Re: All of a sudden ATA failed to register with freephone li
1. In your SPA112, Navigate to Voice-->Line 1 (or whatever you're using for FPL)-->SIP settings, change SIP Port to a random number between 30000 and 60000.
If that works, you had a corrupted NAT connection in your router.
2. Afterwards, double check your settings with the .pdf guide located at http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16206
a. Check your SIP Username and password: https://www.freephoneline.ca/showSipSettings
b. Especially check your registration timers.
http://support.freephoneline.ca/hc/en-u ... redentials
Registration Interval: 3600 seconds (1 hour)
Registration Expiry: 3600 seconds (1 hour)
Failed Registration Re-Try Interval: 120 seconds
More than 5 registration attempts within 5 minutes will result in a temporary IP ban.
3. Do what Mango wrote to help with one-way audio issues. In your ATA, the following should be enabled:
"Handle VIA received: yes
Handle VIA rport: yes
Substitute VIA Addr: yes"
4. In your router, make sure SIP ALG is disabled.
5. If you're using your own router, make sure it's in bridge mode.
6. After confirming your settings, reboot your modem-->router (wait for it to be fully up and running)-->ATA in that order
If that works, you had a corrupted NAT connection in your router.
