Sipsorcery registers but goes straight to voicemail
Thanks in adance
Have 2 FPL im trying to register on sipsorcery. They both show as registered in the sipsorcery interface, but both numbers just go straight to voicemail. If i move the registration back to my grandstream phone it works as normal? Ive read a few posts on FPL seeing to many requests from the sipsocery IP, is this still and issue?
Help
Thanks

Re: Sipsorcery registers but goes straight to voicemail
Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to help you too much, since I don't use Sip Sorcery.automationjackson wrote: Have 2 FPL im trying to register on sipsorcery.
If SIP Sorcery is showing that your FPL accounts are registered, then that scenario seems unlikely to me. Instead you wouldn't be registered since FPL's SIP server would temporarily issue an IP ban.ve read a few posts on FPL seeing to many requests from the sipsocery IP, is this still and issue?
What happens if you try voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 (which is intended to help bypass faulty SIP ALG features) instead of voip.freephoneline.ca?
Also, you can try submitting a request for a "forced registration" for both of your FPL accounts: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
You might want to take a look at the settings in this post: https://community.freepbx.org/t/trunk-s ... ca/22479/8.
Lastly, you can try asking on the SIP Sorcery forums: http://forum.sipsorcery.com/index.php.

Re: Sipsorcery registers but goes straight to voicemail
Well it is showing registered in the SS console.
ContactRegisterInProgress 06:52:50:892 sip1(2596): Checking SIP Provider registration for ryanFPL.
ContactRegisterInProgress 06:52:50:892 sip1(2596): Sending initial register for XXXX and ryanFPL to udp:208.65.XX.44:5060.
ContactRegisterInProgress 06:52:50:892 sip1(2596): Initiating registration for XXXX on sip:voip.freephoneline.ca.
ContactRegistered 06:52:51:204 sip1(2596): Contact successfully registered for XXXX on sip:voip.freephoneline.ca, expiry 3600s.
In the SS setup there is no place to change port so i am unable to try voip4. I would assume that since they have multiple accounts they are not having issues with the SIP ALG and the call is routing through there server.
How do i request a forced registration? What info do they require?
Thanks i have posted on their forums as well. Still waiting for a response.
Thanks
Ryan

Re: Sipsorcery registers but goes straight to voicemail
I'm not sure if you're attempting to use the same FPL SIP credentials on multiple devices, but FPL only allows one device or SIP registration service per FPL account at any time. The most recently registered device will ring. The other will not.
I would just try specifying voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 where you currently have voip.freephoneline.ca.
Select VoIP Unlock key-->my account inquiry for the issue type. Provide them with your FPL phone numbers (starting with 1) for both accounts.
"Forced registration" doesn't actually force registration. Rather, I suspect FPL is forcing its switch to proxy audio for the user's account.
There's a related thread at http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... =25#p68860.
Read Mango's posts.
Then you're not being IP banned by FPL's SIP servers. So your problem has nothing to sending more than 5 registration requests within 5 minutes, which would normally result in a temporary IP ban for people using an ATA instead of SIP Sorcery.automationjackson wrote:Well it is showing registered in the SS console.

This person managed to do it: http://forum.sipsorcery.com/viewtopic.p ... ine#p25741In the SS setup there is no place to change port so i am unable to try voip4.

I doubt it's an issue with SIP ALG as well, but you might want to try it to see if it makes a difference.I would assume that since they have multiple accounts they are not having issues with the SIP ALG

Re: Sipsorcery registers but goes straight to voicemail
Thanks for the quick response
So it looks like it registers correctly with voip4
ContactRegistered 16:35:27:170 sip1(2596): Contact successfully registered for XXXX on sip:voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060, expiry 3600s.
So ill try the forced registration and wait to see if hear from anyone on the SS forum.
Thanks
Ryan

Re: Sipsorcery registers but goes straight to voicemail
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with SIP Sorcery, so I'm out of suggestions. I don't have enough time to setup an account with them and test.
Unless someone else has something to contribute, it may be best to contact SIP Sorcery instead.
The following is configuration information you can refer to when contacting them:
