Changing email address in settings doesn't work.

Account Email/Login Change Not Working
I am trying to change my account login email. It wont allow me to do it.
Freephoneline.ca -> Login -> Account Settings -> Manage Your Account - Page -> Tried changing email address field
I keep getting "The contact phone number you have entered is already used more than the maximum of times per day. Please change the other phone number"
I also tried to change the contact number field at the same time as I was changing the email on that page. Same error message
This was tried only once today.

Submit a ticket at https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
For the final issue type, choose "my account inquiry".

Changing email address in settings doesn't work.
Hi there,
I'd like to change my email address in "Account Settings" but it keeps saying
"The contact phone number you have entered is already used more than the maximum number of times per day. Please change the other phone number".
First of all, I don't understand the message.
I've trying other numbers and empty field, it doesn't change anything. It still the same error.
Any one has an idea what's going on?

I've just witnessed this issue recently, and, wow, it's not fun.
Given that different phone numbers were entered, I'm not sure the restriction is truly related to phone numbers. Consequently, I think the error message is misleading.
"The contact phone number you have entered is already used more than the maximum of times per day. Please change the other phone number."

There appears to be a 24 hour lockout on changing email addresses after the error message, "the contact phone number you have entered is already used more than the maximum of times per day," is shown. Afterwards, it's possible to attempt another email address change.
