In the FPL front page/optional services, it says...
You can order additional phone numbers for your home for only $1.99 monthly First and last month payment required up front.
I have registered 2 FPL numbers already in my name with the same address, of course. How will the announcement affect me? Will I have to pay $1.99 monthly?

No, the numbers you have no are under two separate accounts (different email addresses) these numbers will be for the same account.

Re: Additional Phone Numbers - Coming Soon!
Will the additional phone numbers have separate call forwarding/find me follow me settings?

This is all yet to be decided, as they are coming soon we're seeing how far we can 'stretch' the functionality, because of course you are paying for them.

Re: Additional Phone Numbers - Coming Soon!
I have a Freephoneline (604-555-1111) number that is fowarded to my Acanac (604-555-2222) number. I want to port 604-555-2222 to Freephoneline and keep both numbers. From what I have read, I should register a new account for the number to be ported.
Can I pay for the Freephoneline configuration file to test that everything works correctly before I port my number, or do I have to pay for the configuration file and number porting all in one go?
Are there any problems with having both Freephoneline numbers at the same 911 address? Can I still forward 604-555-1111 to 604-555-2222, once they are both serviced by Freephoneline?
P.S. Did the number porting charge just increase by $5?

Re: Additional Phone Numbers - Coming Soon!
You can pay for the config file for your current FPL Number, setup your ATA, and use the product.. Then when you port your Acanac number onto it, you'll "lose" your current FPL number - at that point or rather before you port it, let them know you want to keep both and pay for the extra config file.mrken wrote:I have a Freephoneline (604-555-1111) number that is fowarded to my Acanac (604-555-2222) number.
