Just curious, what am i supposed to hear when the other caller ends the call before i do? Because right now as soon as they hang up, i hear a busy signal. Where as width a landline, or even my last voip provider (videotron), i would hear a click and dial tone.
This doesn't affect my call in any way, just a little annoying to hear, so i'm wondering if its normal. Thanks!
What do you hear when the other caller hangs up?

Re: What do you hear when the other caller hangs up?
This is likely related to the "Loop Current Disconnect" setting in the ATA. I suspect it needs to be enabled, and it's probably not. Unfortunately, the Grandstream HT-801 is locked to Fongo's configuration server, so you can't test (even if you could make changes yourself, after rebooting, the settings would be reset by the server automatically). If that setting is enabled, possibly "Loop Current Disconnect Duration" and "Play busy/reorder tone
before Loop Current Disconnect" settings need to be adjusted.
You could submit a ticket to Fongo and ask whether "Loop Current Disconnect" is enabled in your ATA: https://support.fongo.com/hc/requests/new. If that setting is enabled though, then you would need to check whether disabling "Play busy/reorder tone
before Loop Current Disconnect" makes a difference.
I don't have a Grandstream HT-801 ATA and don't use Fongo Home Phone, so I can't test.
