[Resolved] Forward - Simultaneous : incoming call ring only once

Hi,

I have Call Forwarding Enable and Ring mode set to Simultaneous. I have fongo version 2024.11.0 on android.

Incomding calls ring only once and are directed to forwading number right away ; my cell phone is on and and have fongo up and running ;

Is this a bug ?

Incoming calls should ring the forwarding number immediately when Call Forwarding mode is set to simultaneous, and Fongo Mobile should continue ringing.

If the incoming call stops ringing the Fongo Mobile number after one ring, I can't reproduce that on iOS 2024.11 at default settings, so you might want to report it as a bug: https://support.fongo.com/hc/requests/new. It's possible they'll ask you to delete the app, reinstall it, log in, and test again.

I found the "issue". The forwarded phone number has voicemail setup to pick up after 1 ring.

It's not a bug. It just did what it supposed to do.

Okay, I should have told you to check whether the incoming call was being answered in any manner by any number’s endpoint, including by a voicemail system. Since you specified the version number, I was under the mistaken impression the only change made was an app update and that forwarded calls were ringing more than once for you previously. I’m glad you discovered the cause.
