Voicemail not saving messages when FollowMe is enabled

As the subject says it, i tested this feature a lot with trial and errors and i couldnt get the voicemail to save messages when call forwarding is enabled.

When i select "Never" forward calls and i call my FPL number, i hear the greeting message and then i can leave a message and when i press #, i hear "Your message has been saved, you can now hang up". I verify my mailbox with the local access number and says i got 1 new message.

But when i select "Always" forward calls, i still hear the greeting message, i leave a message, when i press #, i dont hear the message saying that my message was saved and even when i hang up. I check my mailbox again and says i got no new messages.

is this a bug or the voicemail is not supposed to work when this feature is on?

This is a small bug that has arisen the last week or so, a ticket is actively being worked on by the programming team to fix it. Will update here as soon as it's fixed!

I have the same problem.
People can leave message, but cant find it in mail box.

Voicemail problem

I only started noticing this problem today:

A caller to my Freephoneline number can successfully record a voicemail message. However, no message is shown in the "mailbox" tab and no email is sent. The calls show up in "call logs".

My "Enable voicemail to email" setting is "copy".

Has anybody else noticed this?

If I call my line and let it ring so voicemail kicks in, I get my recorded voicemail greeting. However after I leave a message and try to retrieve it, there's nothing there?

Trying to figure out if I've created a problem somewhere in the ATA perhaps?

Can we have a temporary fix, Like disable voicemail to follow me phone until it is working?

I don't want people to be upset thinking they left me a message and I never reply.

If there is already a topic about an issue be sure to post there.

This is a known issue and is being looked into - Though reading TSellers post this done not seem like the same issue, he did not indicate any call forwarding in place.

That's correct, however the problem persisted after I used call forwarding. So it seems perhaps using the call forwarding initiated the problem, then it persisted after I turned it off.

Wondering the same thing, forwarding to my cell, some say they left a message but no emailed audio file to my Desktop's Thunderbird app.
Did they fix it yet?

I just tested it again. Called from my Telus cell phone and left a message. Waited a couple of minutes, no email. Picked up the line to check voicemail by dialing *98 and just got a bunch of clicking noises. Had to reboot the ATA. Then checked voice mail, "you have no new messages" is what I got.

Again just to repeat, this problem arose after I had used the forwarding option, which is not being used at the moment. However I do recall being very suprised to get some voice mail messages in the mailbox of the number I had forwarded to, after I had turned off forwarding and being real puzzled as to how that happened. I think that there is a bug with the FPL forwarding perhaps.

There is a known bug and it is being investigated, the issue itself seems to be with the developer of the SIP gateway we use, however, I cannot give any precise reasons as to why it is happening, or when a fix will be available; the fix will most likely be a 'patch' of sorts to our gateway as many other maintenance releases have been and as such may take time to establish.
