Hi Admins! Let me first thank you for providing a stable service!
The reason I am writing is that one feature which I used to use is now not available on FPL. Before, with my SIP enabled account, I was able to make one outgoing call, put that call on hold, then make a second outgoing call, and then bridge those two calls into a conference to make a 3-way call.
Since you limited outgoing calls to just one concurrent call (several months ago), I've not been able to do this. Now, I get a message to the effect that the "account is already in use". On the other hand, 3-way calling with two incoming calls still works, as does call-waiting, since the limit on incoming calls is more than 1 (perhaps it is 2).
Is there any chance for you to re-enable 3-way calling with two outgoing calls? I hope it's not too much to ask, because I was finding this feature extremely useful!
Thanks,
Iordan Iordanov

Re: three way calling with two outgoing calls
Three way calling is still supported - I just tested this to confirm it's still working on my PAP2T here in the office. I was able to call my extension, call the extension next to me, and bridge the two together into one call.
What ATA are you using? You'll get that error if you're using more than 2 channels, which shouldn't be the case for a 3-way call because each person you're calling is only one channel.

Re: three way calling with two outgoing calls
Hi Steve,
The problem with me is that I sometimes call into my Asterisk server from outside, and then attempt to make two outgoing calls (in order to bridge them). I guess I should be counting the one incoming call that I've made into the equation, which I wasn't doing. Is there any chance you guys would support this kind of setup?
Thanks!
Iordan

Re: three way calling with two outgoing calls
That would be why, since that inbound call uses a channel as well. Unfortunately this type of support won't be added as we limit to 2 channels to prevent abuse and business use.iiordanov wrote:Hi Steve,
