Phone verification not working

Registered a few hours ago and selected the phone verification option. I did receive a call shortly afterwards and entered my PIN as requested, but my service did not activate.

Tried again about 20 minutes later, same result.

Waited several hours and just tried again (just now) and still nothing.

The service calls me, I get the recording and prompt for my PIN, but when I enter it I get dead air - no confirmation, no alert it was right/wrong, no beep...nothing.

Help!

FWIW, I just forwarded the call from my cellphone (which I used for registration) to my house line to try the activation there (thinking perhaps it was my cellphone's DTMF that wasn't transmitting correctly) and the problem persists.

Still can not activate.

24 Hours later, same problem still. I'm now getting the "Activate or else" warning emails and can't do anything about it.

I think there is a global phone verification issue going on. I've seen a bunch (8+) in the last little while, and it started to happen just before budphone was launched.

Obviously I can't see any actual successful activations, but perhaps the Admins can shed some light?

There's hundreds of successful activations in a day :)
Since only the bad ones are popping up, it looks worse than it is. I believe the issue has been linked to the DTMF type the phone carriers of said affected people are using. We should have a fix in our system shortly to accept this signaling.

Thanks for the update.

I figured it wasn't really a big issue, but sometimes having someone mention it makes all the difference.

I am having this problem as well, I receive the call, I hear the recording, I input my 3 digit PIN received my email, and then.....just nothing, I stood listening about 10 minutes and nothing. I hope this issue gets fixed, otherwise the server is going to cancel my account in three days.

I was having this same problem, i tried again today but instead of just entering the 3 digit pin number i added a # right after the pin and it immediately activated. Hopefully this may work for others too....

Thank you Steve, now it is solved (I called 800 number and they helped me), now I am happy new user of this service :) I am going to use it this weekend.
