Failed to port over my phone number

Post by snoopy_00 »

Hi there,

1) I am having difficulty porting my number. I was told to send the pdf form to loa@freephoneline.ca but it didn't work.

The response I received was "Ticket creation failed: Letter of Authorization
No permission to create tickets in the queue '[5] New Porting Orders'".

So, which email should I send the letter of authorization to?

2) My ATA FreePhoneLine doesn't work right now. No dial tone. It was working yesterday. (That's my current VOIP #6473678766 with FreePhoneLine)

Any suggestions?

Much Thanks!
laurent

For #1, it sounds like an internal issue with their service to handle those requests. I'd give them a call, or email support@freephoneline.ca perhaps.

As for #2, what model of ATA is it? Grandstream 286?

If you email again it will now go through without that error. Our apologies - there was an internal systems migration last night which ended up leaving us without the ticketing system for a short while.

Can you access the web interface and see what's up?
