d-link dir 615 port forwarding

Good Afternoon!

Trying to get freephoneline software working on my laptop...everything works other than the issue with port forwarding on the router. With the computer connected directly to the modem, I can receive and make calls no problem. With the router, the software sees the incoming call but
can't accept it and I can't make calls out.

I've tried to setup port forwarding but something is obviously still not right.

Is your windows firewall on the laptop still on? I would recommend you disable it, because it is worse than useless.

No, it's not on...I kindu wish it was because I'm completely out of ideas. I know it's the router config...yet I can't see anything wrong with the settings!

DIR 615 C1 (version <= 3.11NA)is already known has issues with VOIP.

Lastest Ver 3.12NA resolved the issue.

You can also flash your router with DD-WRT.

Thanks for the info! I tried the DD-WRT upgrade but it didn't take...the d-link upgrade worked fine...up and running!
