I'm not having a lot of success getting the softphone working on my home computer.
The sound test comes back with errors, saying "Sound data transfer: Unable to send/receive data! Port 13000 should be available."
I'm not sure how the port could be blocked as I've plugged my computer directly into the model and disabled Windows firewall. Any thoughts?
Update:
The only issue I continue to appear to be having is that the outgoing audio is being blocked somehow.
AFter forwarding the proper ports on my router and windows firewall did nothing, I've removed them both from the equation.
I'd love to get this resolved to test things out as I have an ATA to use but I don't want to pay for the config until I can do a test off the softphone.
Any help would really be appreciated.

What's your operating system? Are you running with administrator privileges? (never know)
Also you indicate in your profile you're with Rogers, so I guess you have cable internet? What's your modem?

Win 7.
I'm pretty sure with Admin Privileges. I'm new to Win 7 and still getting used to how the Admin profile works as it seems different than previous versions. Regardless, the windows firewall is disabled. Is there anything else around Windows I need to be concerned about?
Yes...cable internet. I'm almost certain the modem is the Motorola Surfboard (Docsis 2) but I'll double check when I get home.

Re: Test Connection - Sound Data Transfer failing
Have you tried a real call? I didn't have great success with the "test" function of the program, but calls always worked properly!
You seem to be doing everything right. Sorry, I have no other suggestion. Perhaps contact the support of FreePhoneLine?
Do you have another computer you can try this on maybe?

I have an ATA but don't want to pay for the config file until I can test things out.
I'll bring my laptop home tonight and try on that.
Thanks for the help.

You have a an awesome router there! It is a shame it is saddled with such an awful firmware. If you can flash it with DDWRT, your routing issues should go away.
