Hi there,

Not sure if you saw the thread below but I think it might be worth reading:

I am not sure if you used the "smart build in setup" or you choose manual setup when you configured your E1200.

Thanks,m

Fongo Support, thanks for your reply, i read that above thread, but i could not find any solution to this problem. if any suggations, please let me know, how to fix this issue.

I bought this router from the small shop, when i take this route to return it, he simply open the Router confiure on his Network & shows me Wireless working & Wired working, so he totally refuse to take it back/return (because this is not like a futureshop / wallmart), so i can't return this Router.

Because of this reasoin i want to utelize this router for my purpose. So if you know any thing about this, "HOW TO GET THIS ROUTER WORK FOR FPL PAP2T".

I appricate for your help.

Thanks

Hi there,

I am really sorry that you couldn't get any help from that link.

What Laszlo did to resolve the issue, he did a manual setup rather than using the built in "smart setup feature"

On you router, this feature is called "Cisco connect"

http://kb.linksys.com/Linksys/ukp.aspx? ... _21480.xml

Please avoid using that feature and try to configure your router manually (the old way)

http://kb.linksys.com/Linksys/ukp.aspx? ... cleid=3686

If you have any troubles- you might need to reset to factory defaults and restart again.

Thanks,

Oh my, your router is a piece of work! It has a feature called SIP ALG, which serve no purpose but to mess up SIP VOIP! You have to disable it! I would probably update the router to the latest firmware, or even better, to DD-WRT, which is more stable, and has features that actually work! It is nice to have a router with stable firmware. A shame that does not happen out of the box, even now.

Some solutions if you insist on using the old firmware.

Set the SIP port on your ATA to 5062, so you no longer have to deal with SIP ALG. Forward RTP ports 16384 -16482 from your router to your ATA, so you can get incoming audio. And pray the firmware is stable enough to do that. Or save yourself some hassle and flash the router to DD-WRT.
