Cannot use softphone at all
For some reason it will not even connect to the server at my house. I have forwarded 6060-6061 and 13000-13001 and it still will not work. FPL works at my friends house without issues. I have a WRT54GL router running the newest Linksys firmware.

Well, if you're not afraid of a little home-tech...
According to the DD-WRT router database both versions of the GL are supported hardware for DD-WRT
http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database
Including
Standard, VoIP,VPN, and Xbox-Kai editions
So if you get extremely frustrated, and nothing you do seems to help, and you've reset your router and modem a million times, and you've tried hooking your computer straight into the modem, and you've set your computer into the DMZ and still FPL never connects. You may, if you're not afraid of your hardware, want to attempt an alternative to the Linksys firmware.
