Hi FPL Support,

My ATA recently became unregistered and will not re-register even after a reboot of ata, modem and router. Connteting directly to the modem does not reproduce and better results. The current ATA setting have not been change since original setup and have worked since. The only difference is that i register with voip2 server since voip 1 only produce 1 way audio (commonly a router\port setting but switching to voip2 resolves without further router changes). I submitted a ticket via Fongo_support signature but failed to realize that i was for Fongo customers only (ticket #32375 for reference).

I've read previously that my registration may be "stuck" and needs to be manually pushed through to resolve voip.freephoneline.ca connection issues.

ATA : grandstream HT 701
Router : E900 v1 w/ DD-WRT firmware

oddly enough, entering sip.fongo.com register's the ata. This probably shouldn't be possible but will leave for now until some info comes from official FPL members regarding what could be going on with the voip and voip2 servers. On that note, voip.freephoneline.ca and voip2.freephoneline.ca resolve to the same DNS 208.65.240.165.

Thank you so much for providing the details.

I can confirm that the servers are online and operational.

Perhaps the issue was caused by the Techsavy outage.

You might want to check- looks like that could be the root cause.

Yes, Cogeco\Teksavvy outage is affecting my area (chatham) at this time as per the DSL Reports thread. Thanks for providing the link as the official Teksavvy page doesn't have that up to minute status.
As per voip and voip2 server pointing to same dns, had FPL consolidated to one server? No load balancing?
