Will Call Forwarded Calls go to voicemail if not pickup?

Does anyone know if the voicemail feature is disabled whenever the number is "call forwarded"?? For example, if I call forward to another number, and if no one picks up, will voicemail still kick in?

If you forward, the voicemail will kick in after the forward
