long distance call not covered by tarrif plan

Post by cynthiae »

Hi,
Each time I try to call Europe, I get a recording saying that my tarrif plan doesn't cover that number. Have I missed activating something? Do I have to have a setting set to automatically charge my account for world credits in order to actually use them? Also, when I signed up, I was automatically assigned some world credits. But my balance has decreased yet I've never successfully been able to even call outside the free-zones. Why is this happening? I don't want to be charged if a call doesn't go through! Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix both situations?

I wasn't aware of any special offer where they would give you world credits when you signed up. I would suggest there might be a mixup with your account especially if you say they are going down without you using them.

Looking in your logs might give you some clue as to what is going on. You will be able to find these online (rather than on your phone).

Either way I would open a support ticket (see sig) and ask there. This sort of thing really needs to be looked at backend, and we don't have any access to that here.

There should be no charge for a call not going through, if you are then again this needs to be looked at by Fongo Support.

Good luck, and I hope you get to the bottom of it.
