ATA Phone Incoming Not working

Post by alekseyz »

Hello Everyone,

I have setup the ATA phone line back in November.
After 2-3 months the incoming ringing does not work any longer.
In addition - whenever I call the call (outgoing call) the quality is terrible.

Device: Linksys PAP2T-NA
Configuration: same as in manual

Any suggestions?

Have you tried using a different phone?
Sounds to me like the phone you have attached to your ATA maybe crapping out.

Try another phone, perhaps a corded one instead of cordless and see if there is a change.

Always handy to keep a good 'ole analog corded phone on hand for troubleshooting anything - VOIP and POTS alike!

Just plugged an old analog corder phone - same thing. The call get automatically redirected to the voicemail
