Hello All,
I am wondering if someone has a suggestion on a SIP adapter that I can use my POTS line along with my SIP line and both phones services use only one phone. Maybe have to push the # sign to use SIP and otherwise it uses the POTS. Is there any adapters like this? So would want to use one Physical phone that is shared among a Land Line (POTS) and SIP.

You will want an ATA with FXS and FXO on it. The ones on this page should give you a head start http://www.ipphone-warehouse.com/Combo- ... -s/328.htm
I'm not saying to buy from them, just grab the model numbers from there and look around.
I would look towards the HT503 or SPA3102. Both models should fall over to your POTS should VoIP not be working (check the manuals for the correct behavior though).

+I used an SPA3102 that way for a number of years and it worked very reliably. It is possible to call in on the voip line and transfer the call to the local pots line which can be useful if calling from abroad to number local to your home phone. I no longer have a POTS phone.
