Does Fongo cut off service?

Hi, I'm trying to figure out just how reliable Fongo is (in order to determine if I can use my Fongo number as my primary contact number). So I'd like to know if the service is cut off if inactive for a length of time; ie. do you lose your Fongo number if it is not used for x period of days?

I ask because "TextMe" gave my phone number to someone else because I had not used the app for 30 days. I did not even know this, so when I tested the app and thought I was calling myself, I got some irate person on the other end, who called me back on my cell number, calling me "stupid" and telling me to "shut up"! I think TextMe might have given him my number! :shock:

It's 3 months of inactivity.

I don't thin kit has been clarified if having the app logged in on your phone is enough to keep it alive, but a phone call in or our every 3 months will keep the system happy.

They will also email you first to give you a warning about the inactivity period before they cut you off.
