Porting number not available to be transferred to Freepho

Hi, I'd like to know why I can't port my number with freephoneline ?

I'm with Videotron cable and my regional code is 418 (418-603-XXXX). The city i'm living is Lévis, Qc. (South side of Quebec City).

I tested it since 2 month now and yesterday I was ready to porting my phone number to your compagny, but I can't.. i'm stuck in the online store with this message and I don't have any more information why...

Your number is indeed listed as Levis which I can't see on the list unfortunately. I would expect it has something to do with them not having a presence on the local exchange so in effect they would not have an exchange to port your number to.

The only thing I can think to do would be to open a support ticket and see if they are willing to port it to another exchange, or if there is anything else they can do. The links for support tickets are listed in my sig.

Ok,I'll open a ticket, because a friend of mine living in my city ported his number without any problem a year ago...
Levis has the same infrastructure and the same phone compagnies than Quebec City... i'm living at 5min of the Quebec City Downtown...it would be strange that I can not transfer my number...

Looking at your exchange (http://www.localcallingguide.com/lprefi ... xch=171250) it seems fairly connected with Quebec so maybe it is just a mistake Levis is missed off the list. But then again I know the whole Quebec area has always been a bit hit and miss with Fongo.

I think it will all depend on what exchange presence they have in your area and hopefully you will get good news.
