T.38 faxing is on our server, we have services specifically for FoIP (Fax over IP); we have not completely rolled it out yet since it is we want to perfect our VoIP first, then add new features. Also, faxing has such dependencies on the fax machine settings that it may never be officially supported due to the support time we would likely have to put into such feature.

i thought it works but up to the point where it sends the first page, it doesn't receive a response "ok go ahead, for the first page on the other end" so it gets to the point of starting to send but fails cause the other end doesn't acknowledge it or send the command "i'm ready".

don't know it doesn't tell me

i'm using that software from faxback but trying to find another one to use. it doesn't make the tone (beeping noise) when making the call. that why FPL doesn't pick it up in it's VM..

could you recommend one to use or get?

Well, to be honest the one that is built in to Windows 7 is pretty darn good - User friendly as well. You can also turn off/on the fax tone which is one thing that a lot don't do. Try using something like 'myfax' to send to your FPL number, it is all automated so it's a good way to test.
