Hey Guys,
I've searched HIGH and LOW for this problem for hours, all over forums and google etc. I've done factory resets, played with the ring voltage/frequency for hours. I'm using a set of DECT Philips CD365 handsets.
The phones will ring once, and then cut out, and then they may ring once more before the voicemail kicks in. Sometimes they won't ring at all.
My Linksys PAP is setup the exact way FPL-Steve's instructions say. Please help! I've tried everything I've read about.
Linksys PAP2T-NA - Phone will not ring reliably.

Is it possible you could try with an "Old" analog phone? You know for testing purpose, it is always to have some alternatives phones around

Yes if you have an old-faithful lying around please try it.
With a digital phone you may find a lower ring frequency is necessary. Just recently saw a user who had success with their digital phone doing the same thing by lowering freq to 26.
I don't have the time at the moment, but I'll see if I can find a PDF of the owner manual, or maybe the FCC information page for that phone and see what frequency/voltage it's actually designed for.

I've just pretty much left it, its 50% at best, but that is good enough for me. I've searched everywhere for the correct voltage setting of the phone and nothing.
I ended up setting it to 70v and 18hz and that works okay.

See what happens if you set the ring frequency to 25 instead of 52. I have a feeling the docs freephoneline has provided on the pap2 has a typo.
