Hi All,

I have been searching this forum, scratching my head and pulling my hair out trying to find a solution to my problem with incoming audio.

I just created a new account and bought an Unlock Key for freephoneline a couple days ago. However, I have not been able to receive incoming audio on both the WIndow App or my OBI202 ata device. I am beginning to wonder if this is not a setting on my end but actually a setting on freephoneline's end?

I have forwarded ports on the router and used viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3098 and viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3100 to configure my OBI202. The reason I think it might by a freephoneline issue is that my other account with freephoneline using an spa3102 device has no issues with either the Windows app or ata device using the exact same router and computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You router needs help in where to send the incoming packets. The OBI202 seems to have a default RTP port range of 17000 to 17098. Get the router to forward those ports to the OBI202, save it, then power down the router, ATA and modem, an power up after a minute to make sure the saved settings are used, and not what is in RAM.

I have forwarded the default RTP port range of 16600 to 16798 for ITSP Profile A which is the profile I am using with my OBI202. The default port range of 17000 to 17098 is for ITSP Profile C which I have disabled on my OBI.

My concern is that the Freephoneline desktop app also doesn't have incoming audio and I can't change any settings on that which leads me to believe it is a problem with my account at your end?

If you are using Desktop app- please ensure that you use latest version->3.2.7.0

For OBI issue- please follow the suggestion from Bridonca.

Hi,

I am using the newest version (3.2.7.0) of the desktop app but I still do not have any incoming audio.

I have also fowarded the ports 17000 to 17098 and that didn't resolve my lack of incoming audio on my OBI202.

Any other suggestions?

I did not catch your router first time around. The TEW-452BRP router is not very good at forwarding ports. I strongly suggest you get a new router, one with the ability to flash to DD-WRT firmware if the default firmware is not up to snuff.

Can you hook up your ATA device directly to the modem? If so, see if the problem is fixed. If so, it is definitively time to get a new router!

For OBI you need to open this ports in your router:

Allow Outgoing:
TCP Ports: 6800, 5222, 5223
UDP Ports: 5060, 5061, 10000 to 11000, 16600 to 16998, 19305
Allow Incoming on UDP Port: 10000

Make sure that you set OBI as static IP address, so you can use it for port forwarding (called virtual servers on many routers). Alternatively you can try to set DMZ (open all ports) for OBI IP address. The desktop application has nothing to do with your OBI.

Same problem on my end, I have all the ports mentioned above properly configured.
