911 Certify?

Post by blastov »

When I logged in to my account, under 'my details' tab it is showing "Non-Certified - 911 emergency service not available" but under the 'e911' table it is showing "Certified - 911 emergency service available".

When I signed up for the service, I had to go through these steps:

1. Answer a call on my main phone and input the code that was sent in the email.

2. Receive a call a couple of days later to verify my information with the agent.
At that time the agent said that I would need to verify/certify some information on the site regarding accepting the 911 service and that I would receive another call to verify my information when I did that.

On the site, I do not see anything to verify and I checked my personal information and it all looks fine. I do not understand the multi-step process to certify. I clicked on the information for another call yesterday and I have not been called again.

I guess I must have a slow brain, since I am not understanding something.

Can someone kindly explain the process to me and what I need to do next?

Currently the e911 tab is just sitting there looking pretty - It's being worked on and will later house all of your e911 info required to know (By you and us).

I'd say ignore it for now, as it will always say Not Certified regardless of what the actual status is :)

No, the problem is not the e911 tab, it is the "my details" tab, which says in RED:

***Non-Certified - 911 emergency service not available***

Is this something to be concerned about? What do I have to do next? The agent called me and I gave him my information and he verified it. He said I need to agree to something and I will get another call. I do not understand what it is that I need to agree to.

Why is my account showing as NON-Certified when the agent verified my info?

Oh - Sorry. have you opened the software phone and agreed to the 911 ToS? If so, send me your Freephoneline number and I'll verify everything for you.
