bell expressvu connecting thru freephoneline

I have a Linksys 2102 adapter with the freephomeline service on it. As one of my sub requirements with Bell ExpressVu, I have to have the satellite receiver plugged into the phone line. The problem is it is having trouble connecting with its host. Is there something I change on the router so it will work. I imaginge it would be the same as sending a fax over the freephoneline.

Might need to drop Bell a line about this. Using alarm systems as an example - most require a special adapter from the company/reseller to work with VOIP.
