Dead Air After Entering Pin Code

Using 2 different phone systems I get Dead Air after entering my pin code and no activation.
What am I missing , please help.

Can you do me two favours,

a) PM me the email address you're using to register
b) What are the two types of 'phone systems' you're using? (PSTN, SIP, etc...)

Also, who is the phone carrier of those two systems.
