DTMF Settings

Using a Linksys PAP2.

DTMF (Touch Tones) TX Method = Auto does not work. However, if I change the setting here's what happens:

1. InBand - DTMF works on most Auto-Attendants (eg. Dial 1 for Customer Service, 2 for Technical Support). However, DTMF will not work for FPL VM options.
2. INFO - reverse of #1. FPL VM options are accepted, most auto-attendants do not.
3. AVT - DTMF doesn't work.
4. Auto - DTMF doesn't work.

Other setting:
DTMF Process INFO: Yes
DTMF Process AVT: Yes

Oddly, all worked fine until PAP2 was turned off and moved to another DSL line - we happened to move home.

Help...my wife is driving me nuts and wants this working. Can you sense the urgency? ;-) Many thanks in advance.

my experience with DTMF is i can't control it one bit.. i tried turn it off all together and it still works. server side i think

Preferred Codec = G711U
DTMF Tx Method = INBAND

Would you have an idea of why this would work?
