[Resolved] Fast busy signal / NIS (not in service)

Post by OverDrive »

This morning I tried to call home from work and i'm receiving a fast busy signal. I have my followme number go to my cell, after 30 seconds when unavailable. It doesn't ring my cell at all, and it just goes to a fast busy.

I've rebooted the voip box remotely and it's registered...

Code: Select all

Hook State:	On	Registration State:	Registered
Last Registration At:	6/25/2010 08:12:13	Next Registration In:	247 s
Message Waiting:	No	Call Back Active:	No
Last Called Number: Last Caller Number:
Mapped SIP Port: Yahoo!:
Call 1 State:	Idle	Call 2 State:	Idle
Call 1 Tone:	None	Call 2 Tone:	None
Is FPL having issues?

Busy tone when calling 289-632-xxxx and 647-547-xxxx (FPL)

As I write this, calls from my office bell line to my home FPL do not go through as I always get a busy tone. Am I alone? :(

Calls from my FPL lines to my bell office line and to my fido cellphone are coming in without problems. :?

Some changes in our media gateway that were meant to make the service more flexible and open to changes had some adverse effects causing the issues you outlined above.

They have since been resolved.

Same thing again this morning

Fast busy's when calling home from work. I have my followme number go to my cell, after 30 seconds when unavailable. It doesn't ring my cell at all, and it just goes to a fast busy.

Reset the voip box remotely - shows

Could you please try again?

We've restarted the SIP server and it appears to have resolved the issues with UA registration as well as inbound calling, some numbers have been reported as still going to voicemail and this is being looked into as well.

Discussion will continue on: http://forum.freephoneline.ca/viewtopic ... 90&start=0
