Any way to disable faxes?

I get a lot of junk faxes sent to my Fongo home phone, often at night. Even after I delete them next morning, my 'phone message' light keeps blinking for a couple more days.

I don’t need the fax feature at all. Does anyone know if there’s a way to just turn off fax support?

my ATA has some options regarding FAX - access your ATA's interface and see if you find any.

Thanks @silentmonolith you're likely right, the manual lists a "Re-Invite after Fax Tone Detection Mode" account setting. Trouble is my ATA came preconfigured from fongo and since everything else is working fine I hate to mess with it. Appreciate your help.
