everything on my FPL + Linksys PAP2T-NA works great except when dialing numbers after connecting.
I first noticed it when trying to activate a credit card - I couldn't enter the numbers on my credit card - the automated VISA system wasn't recognizing the keys as numbers ... the same thing happens when I call my friend's work number and I need to key an extension ... it ends up taking me straight to reception (more of a problem if they're working late and reception's closed).
any ideas? anyone else experience this?
pressing numbers after connecting ... (i.e. extensions)

Set your DTMF to inbound
that should fix it.

thanks! ... I'll give it a shot ...OverDrive wrote:Set your DTMF to inbound

edit -
in the advanced menu, admin login, I have under line 1
DTMF Tx Method: AUTO
my options are; InBand, AVT, INFO
no inbound ... am I looking in the right spot?

Sorry, yes, my mistake - INBAND, not inbound - brain fartnjchan wrote:thanks! ... I'll give it a shot ...OverDrive wrote:Set your DTMF to inbound

Re: pressing numbers after connecting ... (i.e. extensions)
Hello Chaps,
I am having the same problem. I am able to make and receive calls from the fpl softphone but when I try to call visa and "press one for english" there is no response. My pressing is futile!
DTMF is already set to in-band...
Ideas?
Thanks a million, great company

Just for fun, try every single option for DTMF. I think I had success with "INFO", but I'm not so sure anymore.
