SMS Gateway
Some cell providers allow text messages to be received from email. One is required to provide the phone number and SMS gateway in the email address and the message can be sent to the cell phone. Is there an SMS gateway address for Fongo so that someone can send a text message from an email package to a Fongo phone?

No, they do not offer that service currently, although quite a few have asked for it - myself included.

Re: SMS Gateway
Has there been any update to this? I want to buy the SMS package for 6 months but am hesitant obviously because of the SMS gateway thing.
For those that don't know what an SMS Gateway is, here's a list: http://www.ukrainecalling.com/email-to-text.aspx

No, and there probably won't be either to be honest.

Re: SMS Gateway
Well the thing I think it has against it is you can only get a text with the Fongo App on a smartphone with the app installed. You send a gateway sms, as you know, by sending an email to a specific address which then gets turned into a text message. So the argument against them setting this up is 'Why not just send an email in the first place?' Pretty much all smartphones have an email client on them so is getting a text message really any better than getting an email?
