Problems the last 2 days
Just curious, has anyone else had any problems over the last few days?
My ATA was down yesterday, no incoming or outgoing calls. I unplugged it for 20 minutes and all was well after I plugged it back in. Today the same thing happened with the same results. Any ideas

No FPL Services Since Yesterday??
My FPL has no service since yesterday in GTA? Anyone has the same problem?

I also have had no phone for about 3 days....
It's unplugged now trying the 20min recycle.

Same here... The Line 1 light is no longer on.
Does anyone know whats going on? Its been running fine for months, all of a sudden it wont register.

Last week-end: I had lost my line. I unplugged the ATA for 20 min and then it worked like a charm.
Today same problem happened... I unplugged it for 20min and I noticed that I can receive phone calls but I cannot call and there is no dial tone... Anyone facing this same problem?

I have lost my service on and off for a week and change. I reset it by turning off the box for 20 minutes and when I plug it back in it's fine for a while, then drops again later. Its been working for a few years with almost no problems till now. It's got me stumped.

I have the same problem day before I powered off for 20 minutes and then it started working. But again its down now. Im on rogers internet

Same here, down since last night. 1 line thru asterisk and 1 pap2. ip is Rogers and linksys router.
Have not rebooted, I will when I get home. I was having issues with Bell and the 2wire modem, so I switched to Rogers.

I had major issues with the Cisco DPC3825 in gateway mode. I suggest putting it into bridge mode and using your own router. Also changing your DNS server helps too. For some reason, the Rogers DNS servers caused frequent loss of registration with FPL. I switched to Google's DNS server and have not had an issue since.zghansar wrote:No I have the Cisco modem

I'm using my own router, Cisco is just a modem mode. It was working fine for years.

I am just guessing that your ATA is stuck into a bad registration. Have you tried powering off ATA for 20 minutes?

Try changing the DNS server to something other than the Rogers ones. Even with my own router, I would frequently lose registration when using the Rogers DNS server.

My friend called me saying his grandstream is losing registration as well. Both of ours worked fine for year. Anything happened with grandstream ht287?

I'm with Cogeco and mine still drops as well. It's been fine for years with the same equipment until the last couple of weeks.
