Hi
I have an outgoint call issue with FPL. I have a Linksys PAP2T and FPL account since 1 year. Nothing changed and since yesterday I got a problem when I dial out.
When I call someone, the person did'nt hear me. But if this same person call me back, he can hear me.
I tried with my cell phone, same issue.. When I call. Can't hear nothing. Call my FPL, everything is OK.
Any idea? I didn't change anything to my PAP2t box
thanks

Re: FPL outgoing call issue
This won't help you much but I have the exact same problem - also on PAP2T, have had an account since the summer and now my FPL won't work anymore - I do get a dialtone but that's it - silence after that. Tried the 20 minute disconnect of power as some people suggested in other threads but didn't help me, can anyone suggest something else?

Re: FPL outgoing call issue
So nothing has changed in your PAP2T configuration, but has anything changed in your network configuration? For example a new router or cable/DSL modem?
I am running a PAP2T and had this problem a lot when I first set it up about a year ago, and that was because my really old router didn't support UPnP. Once I switched the router to a WRT54G and enabled UPnP it worked fine but until then no amount of changes to the PAP2T could get it to work.
For what it's worth, mine is still working fine except for one number I could not dial yesterday - but it is a number I have never called before. I get a recording that it is a long distance call. It is not, but it still doesn't work to put a 1 in front of it.
@joeschmoe - the dialtone comes from the PAP2T. Can you post a screenshot of the PAP2T main page showing the firmware version and the registration status for the line you are using?

Re: FPL outgoing call issue
Same issue here, I have at least two other users with same problem. We are on ATA SP122 & SP112
This seems to be an issue with their proxy servers. Everything was running fine for months until today (for us at least)

I don't believe that this can be resolved in the Public forums

Re: FPL outgoing call issue
I can confirm that my issue has been indeed fixed by opening a ticket with FPL support - they were very fast to respond, I should add. So folks, if your FPL stopped working all of a sudden, your best bet is likely contacting the support staff, they sure fixed mine.

I am having the same issue... I created a ticket and tried to PM Support, but the PM message is staying in the "outbox" and wouldn't send out.joeschmoe wrote:I can confirm that my issue has been indeed fixed by opening a ticket with FPL support - they were very fast to respond, I should add.
