Workaround to port a number to FreePhoneLine

Post by vlaine »

I need to port a Levis phone number to FreePhoneLine.
Levis is not a supported city.
I am trying to figure a workaround.
As an example, if I port my number to a cell company or a voip company like Acana*, will I be able to port my number from that company to FreePhoneLine without issue?

I really need to keep my number. Help me find a way.
The phone number is in the 418-838-xxxx

No matter where you port your number to, it is still going to be a Levis number.

I have no idea if this is still possible, but there was a few posts by Fongo Staff members indicating that numbers can be ported to different exchanges. The BIG downside to this is people dialling your number that should be local to 418-838 will be charged long distance.

Again, to me this doesn't sound possible, but I remember distinctly some staff members saying things to this effect.
