Re: no outgoing audio
You probably have a trifecta of garbage gear, at least when it comes to SIP VOIP. You never mentioned the modem, but I am assuming it is also a "smart" router.
First thing you do it put the modem in bridge mode, which allows the router to solely do the routing. You do not want to be in a position where you have 2 routers cascading each other, causing a double NAT. It is hard enough for a packet to navigate through 1 NAT, 2 is a nightmare.
I am too lazy to find out, but I am betting that expensive POS Linksys EA6400 has SIP ALG enabled. Get rid of that! SIP ALG is broken, and all it does it tie up SIP port 5060. I would be inclined to use another SIP port like 5062 instead to make sure there are no SIP ALG issues at all. Some routers sometimes do what they want, no matter what settings your input. Have not heard that about your router though.
Update your router firmware. It still boggles me why router companies churn out such awful software product the first time around!
With your ATA, you need to make sure you have RTP traffic the ATA needs mapped from the router to the ATA, so forward ports 16384 to 16482 from the router to the ATA. That is assuming the ATA is using the default RTP ports.
