I had ported in my father's Bell number in January. He had difficulty calling some Korean phone numbers, I made a thread. http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15394
We ended up porting the number back to Bell, and now the account (email login, not the phone number) no longer exists. There were unused world credits, and SIP credentials that I was intending to use with the original number that FPL had assigned me.
Did I lose my account when I unported my number?

Re: Did I lose my account when I unported my number?
Well it doesn't say so explicitly in their faq http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... er-carrier but usually when you port a number out from a phone company that closes the account.
FPL has said in the past that any closed account will obviously loose any services attached to it.
I would expect the worse, but it might be worth opening a support ticket and seeing if they will do anything for you. It's not really a matter for the forum unfortunately.
