International texting using fongo

Hi can one do international texting using fongo from Canada to overseas?

I am thinking of using fongo however I wanted to know if these features are covered by fongo

Unlimited Outgoing Talk – to anywhere in Canada
Unlimited outgoing text to Canada and US – Yes
Unlimited incoming text – yes
Voice mail – yes
Bonus features – Call display – call waiting – call forwarding – Group calling
international txt (which you mentioned is not covered)
so I might just need to take a another carrier as well.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

does fongo allow receiving and sending international texting. I am aware i already got a reply but that was one year ago just checking to see if anything has changed since then

Also the free phone line is it a landline or a cell phone line - are there any costs involved please clarify. Do we need to purchase any adapter?

I don't believe there is international texting yet. Not sure if it is a limitation of how voip works with texting.

Regarding your other question, you are referring to 2 different services. There is fongo which you use on your cell phone as an app, or there is freephoneline where you buy a box, configure it and hook up a real telephone to it and use it as a home phone. Keep in mind with freephoneline there is no texting at all, because its essentially a home phone.

With fongo for a home phone, you can pay 4.95 a month and get the box from fongo. That way you have a home phone, and you don't have to worry about configuring the box.
