Incoming Audio

Post by generalkhaos »

Hi there. I just registered for and downloaded your MAC application, and so far I am unable to hear incoming audio on outgoing calls, and incoming calls are told the customer is unavailable.

i've been reading through the forums but am unable to find a fix, my MBP firewall is disabled, my router has forwarded port 13000 to my local ip, as well
i have disabled the spi firewall and set my mbp as the demilitarized zone.

so i'm at a loss. my service provider is eastlink cable, is it possible they're blocking it somehow ? it seems unlikely i think.

anyways if you have any thoughts i would love to hear them.

I have been using freephoneline with Eastlink here in Halifax for quite a while, so I doubt the ISP is at issue. I would remove the windows firewall, because it is worse than useless. Just for a test, see if freephoneline works when you have your computer directly connected to the cable modem. If it works, your router is misconfigured some how.
