Re: [FIXED] Followme Causes Inoperable Voicemail
Thanks Kris.
I just gave it a try. I reset Follow Me to 'never' after it was set to forward. I get the voicemail greeting, and leave a message by counting to 20. Call back and press *98. Receive the system prompt, 'you have no new messages".

Same issue, but part of it has been resolved.
Here is my problem in Detail:
Here is my problem in Detail:
- It is not hardware related, since I am using FreePhoneLine's all-in-one bundle of phone, router, modem and DSL internet, with the default config of their THOMSON TG784 modem/router/VoIP box
- The issue began about 2 weeks ago
- Voicemail works properly if call forwarding is OFF or ON, this has been fixed as of today (August 20th 2010)
- Voicemail works properly if "None" or "Copy" option for voicemail is activated, this has been fixed as of today (august 20th 2010). Before, callers would be thrown to voicemail too early if call forwarding was on, and their messages would never come to my mailbox or my freephoneline mailbox.
- Dropped Calls due to call forwarding being "ON" is no longer an issue as of August 20th 2010.
