Phone Serivice problems

Post by greenstuff »

I have been having several problems the last few weeks.

When calling numbers with automated menus nothing happens when i press keys for menu selections.
Several times i have been unable to pickup incoming calls.
A couple of times making outgoing calls the other party couldn't hear me but everything was okay when they called me.
The phone has gone completely dead a couple of times. If I unplug the power to the adapter, wait 3-4 minutes, then plug it back in it works again.

I am using a Linksys WRTP54G. Are there setting changes that will correct these problems?

Yes, I think there may be setting changes that will correct those problems.

Let's start:

Your modem - Port forwarding correctly done?
Your ATA - What is it? Have you reset it? What settings did you put? Had it worked flawlessly before? Have you tried connecting directly to your modem? Can you post screenshots of your settings?

We need more input than what you posted in order for us to help you.
