Why not? Doesn't your telephone keypad have 1, 8 and 0 keys? :P

Seriously, what do you hear when you dial? Have you tried other 1-800 numbers?

Have you tried dialing those same numbers without the leading 1?

it's always busy tone after dialing 1-800 numbers...
