SPA3102 and call forwarding

Post by loveall27 »

Hi, I am little confused with the way call forwarding works , do I have to setup call forwarding in the spa3102 ??? then what is follow me service as in the follow me service I do not see any field where I can enter phone number it just gives me either to enable with various options or never??

Thanks,
laurent

In the FPL webpage for your account, you need to save the settings after changing the FollowMe feature in order for the lower part to appear. You will then be able to add phone number to forward to.

Your SPA3102 has a "standard telephone line port" which I believe you can plug to an existing telephone line. This would allow you to route an incoming SIP call to the outbound phone line and forward the call yourself, as opposed to using FPL's followme features for forwarding.

You will most probably only want to use the FPL's feature.

Thanks for your reply and I managed to get follow me on the FPL website going however regarding setting up call forwarding feature thru my phone line in SPA 3102 , under regional setting I do see there are various Vertical Service Activation Codes such as Cfwd All Act Code:*72 , Cfwd No Ans Act Code:*92 etc etc but when press any of these codes i get a message that "this call is not covered by your tariff plan" any suggestion to set call forward using spa3102 instead of using FPL website?
