Anyone using alternative software with FPL? I have the ATA setup already but am away from my phone and would like to check my voicemail from my PC.
I tried downloading the softphone from the FPL website but after installing I can't get it to work, I just get this error ding every 2 seconds. I don't get any dial tone, no calls go through, can't even check my voicemail.
Old versions of the soft phone worked fine before, but I don't have an install file for those. Plus I guess it's hit or miss whether they still work since officially they are unsupported...
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It could be the internet connection where you are that isn't letting you connect.
Things you could try are :
Install a softphone like x-lite and put in your config details.
