If you don't want to read the whole thing, the tl;dr is at the bottom.
Recently I read a post in another forum from a user with a SPA112. This user stated that the SPA112 dropped offline frequently and had to be rebooted. The symptoms reported were what I would expect if the device was registering too frequently, yet the user claimed they had configured their device exactly to FPL's specifications (3600 seconds).
Apparently there was a bug in the SPA1x2's firmware reported two years ago that caused the device to use 10% of the SIP T1 value. By default, this would cause the devices to retransmit a REGISTER if a response wasn't received from the service provider within 50 milliseconds. That is extremely short and probably resulted in a lot of erroneous retransmissions, which then caused the users to be temporarily banned from FPL. In theory, two years should be enough time for Cisco/Cybertran to fix the bug, yet the user claimed to have the latest version of the firmware.
tl;dr: Is anyone with a SPA112 or SPA122 having registration failures? If so, please try to set SIP T1 to 10 and let me know if that solves the problem.
As far as I'm aware, this problem does not affect Sipura devices such as the PAP2T and SPA2102.

Haven't had any problems thus far!
Try changing the following values in the router:
Voice ===> SIP ===> " Reg Retry Long Intvl: " to 30 secs

That is wrong - FPL suggests 120 seconds, not 30: http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... redentials
