I have two FPL accounts. Both are enabled with automatic top-up on my world credits. When my balance gets to $1.25 (once or twice a year usually) then it's supposed to charge my credit card $5.00 and apply that to my account.

A couple of weeks ago, I got an email notifying me that the balance was low on one of my accounts. I ignored it, assuming that the auto refill would take care of things. I tried to use the phone days later and had zero balance. I tried to make a payment, but since I was located in the US, my IP showed my location and FPL's system disallowed the transaction due to an IP error.

I spoke with someone at the C/S line and he got it straightened out no problem.

Yesterday, I got the same message about my other account. Again, auto refill is supposed to be active. Yes, the credit card is good.

I still have $0.92 in my account. That should last me for weeks, but I'd like to get this straightened out.

Is the system not working?

I would suggest filling in a support question on this.
I have not heard that it isn't working, so they may be able to tell you more.
