Two months ago I switched service providers (previously Telus) and had to give up my long standing 250 number for a 778 number with Shaw. Now I would like to reinstate it by porting it over to my Freephoneline account. Does anyone know if this is possible since two months have elapsed. When I try my old number, I get the message that it is not in service so I think it is not yet assigned to anyone else.
If anyone knows how long my 250 phone number may remain unassigned, I would appreciate it. Perhaps it may still be available for me to port it over.
Thank you.

You would have had to talk to your old service provider to get the number reinstated to you, though that is not going to help you here, because Victoria does not seem to be a city Fongo has incoming numbers to.

Thank you bridonca. I guess I will stick with the 778# with Freephoneline.
