massive packet loss

Post by Bob »

Hi support,
I created a ticket, but I'd like to check with fellow freephoneliners whether I'm alone or not ( voip.freephoneline.ca here ).

After few complains from the people who heard my voice breaking (while I heard them perfectly well) ,I finally arrived at the situation when everything is breaking bad ( their voice, my voice, etc. ) . I start investigating, and I found out that there is a massive packet loss ( sometimes 30%+ ) reported by PAP2T. I played with network jitter settings moving it both to extremely high and low, and there was no difference in the numbers of lost packets, so I guess they are really lost somewhere ( I have 0% packet loss between me and voip.freephoneline.ca if I use something like pingplotter to trace it for some time, so the question is - what could be the problem, and how to fix it ) ? Also it would be nice if someone spread the word to the admins of voip.freephoneline.ca (sometimes simple reboot will fix the story :) )
